What a amazing story. Once I began reading I just couldn't stop. The story does not have a single page that is not captivating. At the end of the book I was sad that I had read all of it, I wanted to keep reading about Sydney's life.

This was a great read. It was different from my normal genre but within a few pages I was captivated. My heart broke and I cried and then I found myself crying tears of joy as the book closed. What a great story.
A heart-warming tale of overcoming abuse and finding happiness and fulfillment in life.
Story of the escape from abuse and how unexpecting people help.
Despite wanting to feel sorry for Sydney, you can’t help but admire her ability to overcome all the negative circumstances in her life. Sometimes strangers do make the best family. The characters in this book are believable and relatable. Only wish Sydney was a little vindictive when it came to her father. I completely enjoyed this book and put it on my would read again list.
