I felt that the heroine needed marital counseling here given her youth and immature expectation from her husband. She put him on a pedestal and when people tried to muddy his feet, instead of ascertaining the facts and standing by him, she lost courage.

And dumb that she was, she sought divorce in absentia. Duh. It was like convicting him all over again. Then, dumb and dumber that she was, she was going off with another man to establish a new life with their daughter elsewhere. Hello?!! I don’t
