One of my main complaints as mentioned in my other reviews of graphic novels I found in my bargain hunting is that I often get books that are middle or tail end of lengthy storylines. Even if do get onboard with the first volume of the trade, there are rarely succeeding volumes available.

I'm a sucker for any osrt of ludicrous 'prismatic' comics stuff, showcasing different sorts of the main characters, eg. Captain America + USAgent, Thor + Thunderstrike, etc, so I figured I'd take this out of the library, what with the promise of it being full of different Iron Man variations and that. I am a shallow man with his head in the early 90s, that's all

Not the classic style of Iron Man I remember from 15 years ago, but still good stuff!

Being a newbie with comic books, this comic took me by surprise. The differences between this and the movie were big enough to make confused. But after some research in the area, I have gotten in deep with the marvel comics and every one that I read gets better. If you love iron man or comic books or both, pick this up next time you have got the chance.
