I finished reading Hate You Forever: How to Channel Your Rage into Effective Supervillainy over Sukkot, and it's hilarious. The book is a pastiche of self-help tropes on topics like "chosing the right supervillain hideout." My favorite part is the recurring series of sidebars, "profiles in lame supervillainy" showing some of the lesser lights of the genre. The author, King Oblivion, PhD (who is not related to Dr. King jr.), has a darkly ironic tone - both encouraging the novice to take up the ...more
