Recommends it for: Fans of quickie hot reads.

I grabbed this eBook because I wanted to give Harlequin’s new division, Carina Press, a try.

Eli and Bea have been working together for a couple of years when they started an advertising company together. Over time their sexual attraction to one another becomes more apparent and more intense. But can they work together and play together without causing damage to the company or each other? While Eli’s body wants to find out, his mind keeps telling him that his darker, sexual appetites might be mo
Since this is pretty short at 68 pages, there's not much to review, but I did really enjoy it, so feel I should say something about it.

Elijah Elliot runs a successful but small ad agency with business partner Beatrix London, whom he's worked closely with for years. They're a mix of business partners and good friends, but lately an unacknowledged mutual attraction has driven a wedge between them. Eli would just make a move on Bea, but he's terrified that the nature of his wants would repulse Bea.

This was a steamy co-workers to lovers story. We have Eli and Bea, who are partners in an advertising firm. They've each been having illicit daydreams about the other, though neither of them know how the other feels. Eli has dominant tendencies, but he's so afraid of them based on how a past girlfriend reacted to them. And Bea is a submissive. Once Eli gives in to his need, he thinks he's harmed or will harm Bea beyond redemption, so he immediately pushes her away. At which point she kinda gives ...more

Holy cow! Talk about scorching hot. Sigh. I wasn't so into the hot coins...but other than that this little story was on fire...from page one. Eli and Bea are one hot and horny little duo that can't seem to sync up outside of the boardroom. Thank goodness they got that worked out. ROFL! Highly recommend this and I look forward to reading more by Ginny Glass as well as the rest of the Dirty Laundry series...which I bought already. :D

My standards for short erotica are rather low, I'm not expecting a lot of backstory or a lot of hurdles or anything. What didn't work for me here was the idea that the couple had been close friends for a while (at no point did their interactions seem like two people who had the type of history Bea rattles off at one point, including comforting her grieving her deceased father) and the idea that they were partners at work (when she seems so subservient already in their non-sex interactions).

COIN OPERATED tells the story of Elijah Elliot and Beatrix London, two business partners who run an ad agency. Eli is a Dominant and Bea is a submissive, they are undeniably drawn to each other but despite their fantasies of each other, neither makes a move to consolidate those fantasies until Bea comes up with a naughty presentation for one of their clients.

Eli is the brooding A-type kind of hero. He’s the people-minded partner of the two of them, the creative one who interacts best

This is the first book I ever read by Ginny Glass and to say she is a great new discovery would be an understatement. Coin Operated is the first book in a laundry themed series. This story is about two business partners, Elijah and Beatrix, who are attracted to each other but don't want to admit it. As you can imagine that brings on some serious sexual tension in their every day work. The book starts with them both in a meeting fantasizing about getting down and dirty with each other- separately ...more

* I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

One ad campaign was all it took to push Eli over the edge he's barely been hanging onto. He has had daydreams and fantasies about Bea for awhile but he is afraid that his sex games will scare her away.

Bea has been in lust with her partner since she first set eyes on him. He doesn't see her as anything but the competent business partner that takes care of everything. She secretly desires f

If this is any indication of what Carina Press will be putting out, I say where can I buy stock? From the first page you're grabbed and sucked in.

"She was kneeling in from of him, nude except for the bright red silk that bound her hands behind her."

This short read (68 pages) was sexy, hot, and makes you clench and tingle.
Eli is a closet Dominant who had a horrible experience and now thinks he is a deviant. Bea is a young woman who puts her trust where he least expects it. Him.

A quick, sexy story about two business partners that finally start to really communicate. Glass was able to put a lot of emotion into this novella. There are also some smoking hot scenes when Eli and Bea start communicating in a different way.

Bea and Eli both want the same things. They want their business to grow and they want each other. It's that last part that they really need to work on. They both fantasize about each other and when they finally succumb to the fantasy they each get more than

I wasn't certain what to expect from Ms. Glass. A debut author, an unknown -- a lot of variables that could backfire. Ultimately, I believe she'll be an author to watch. Coin Operated, however, left me asking "And then?" and wanting more from Eli and Bea.

The prose wasn't as emotional or as intense as I thought it might be, given the layers of BDSM in the novella. There were moments, of course, early on -- during their respective fantasies, specifically -- when I believed in their connection and

What happens when two individuals who fantasized about each other for so long finally gets together? The answer is an explosive, hot 'completion'.

Coin Operated is a sexy novella about Eli and Bea, friends and business partners, who had secretly lusted after each other for years. The story begins with each one of them daydreaming while during a business presentation. That alone was enough to get me smiling. Finally Bea's idea for an ad campaign finally pushed Eli to take action, and amid the roar

This is a short story that moves very quickly, is peppered with sex of both the fantasy and non-fantasy variety and involves the creative use of neckties and quarters. If any of those things squick you, I'd imagine that you should probable be looking elsewhere for some light reading.

Bea and Eli have been successfully ignoring the sexual tension between them for the past two years as they work on getting their fledgling business up and running. That doesn't stop the steamy daydreams, though. When

Not bad! Short, but you get enough story that it reads like a quick novel. The hero and heroine have somewhat vivid and extreme sexual fantasies about each other for the first part of the book, and it's a good way to delay satisfaction, create sexual tension, yet at the same time have explicit sex scenes early in an erotic romance. The source of conflict lies mostly in the fact that they're partners and co-workers so must maintain a proper working relationship and in that the hero has some very ...more

Great book from a new author. It's a quick, steamy read which sucks you in from the beginning. From the start, you get a clear picture of how hot Elijah and Bea are for each other. It's a wonder they got any work done!

I liked the fact that they already knew each other. They didn't just work together. They traveled together often, shared intimate moments, and she even helped him through a bout of food poisoning once. But they never crossed the line. This only heightened the sexual tension and ma

I had actually thought the covers of this series kind of funny -- until I read this short novella and discovered that laundry isn't a metaphor, but an actual part of the story. Elliot and Bea don't literally get it on inside a washer, but it's almost that weird. It made me lose all interest in the big exciting sexy bizarre finale.

It didn't help that Elliot is a confused, inconsistent character and you never know what the hell he's going to say. It seems like a bad pun to call him wishy-washy, b

Quick, enjoyable read. Good smut doesn't have to be a trilogy long. Miss Glass does a good job setting up the sexual tension quickly between the two stars, and it flows from there. The BDSM scenes are less BD than they are DS, and are reminiscent of some of the scenes in Secretary, but they're more honest than some of the things out there.

All in all, this was an enjoyable spend of a few bucks and more than a few minutes of reading.

Oh hello, Mr. Elliot.

Coin Operated was a wonderfully hot, sexy, friends to lovers story that had me flipping the pages as quickly as I could. Elijah's internal struggle to not give in to his desires to take Bea and make her his own were wonderful to watch. When they finally came together, holy cow hot stuff.

Great sexy read, perfect for summer. :)

WOW! Okay, while I like spicy books, I'm not really a fan of domination. BUT this book is AMAZINGly written. The word choices, the turns of phrase--I loved reading every word.

Ginny Glass writes wicked smart, rocket-hot, melt-your-heart, zap-your-undies fiction.
She's a 30-something snarky brunette who likes thunderstorms, junk shops, vintage kitchenware, big words and writing author's biographies for herself (kidding - these things are horridly difficult to write).

Why romance? Who knows. Ginny once got Fabio's "Pirate" confiscated by a teacher in middle school, and it's
