Even better than the first book in the series. The story moves along and it was interesting watching Jahrra grow up. I did however laugh a bit at the lake monster not because it wasn't well done but, it reminded me of an episode of Little House on the Pairie.
I look forward to the Third book especially looking forward to seeing how Jahrra and Jaxx will work together.

Miss Johnson grew up and still resides on the Central Coast of California, the very place where the Legend of Oescienne began to blossom into the epic it has become.
