**Traditional Literature #2**
This collection of stories are almost a parallel to the Grimm Brothers fairytales. This collection actually very popular parts of Chinese history (as the introduction to this book tells us), and I’m shocked that I haven’t known about them until now! I figured, somewhere in the recesses of my brain, that there would be an equivalent to the fairytales I know in other cultures all around the world. The best thing to be said about this anthology of "strange" Asian stories is that the stories are brief and the volume is slim.
