I immediately dived into this one after reading the second in the series, because I knew if I didn't I never would. It would languish in my TBR pile forever. So, I braced myself for another sorta dull but still readable book, and...was decently surprised. It still wasn't amazing, but was a step up from the first two.

Levi (Rachel's brother from the first two books) is a Gargoyle of immense power. Too bad he has no idea what he is. Thinking he is nothing more than a complete freak...more

I must have been reading too many ebooks lately(this is the first print book I've read in more than a month), because about two thirds of the way through the 278 pages of story I had to take a break when my brain suddenly asked 'how much longer can this go on?'
Other than that, which isn't the books fault, I enjoyed the story.
It's the third book in a trilogy and you do have to read them in order. Each book has a separate couple getting their own HEA, but the surrounding story about the...more

Best book to date in the Les Gargouillen series. Look forward to Book 4. Hope we won't have to wait as long as we did for Book 3. ;)

Okay so maybe 3 1/2 stars. For my taste the villian got way to much print time. I was glad at his outcome however. I really liked Levi and Tasha, especially Tasha she was one tough gal but in a good way. I guess my over all rating on the series is a 3 1/2, good but not great.

Vickie Taylor wrote her first novel in 1997. Upon completion, she was too chicken to give the manuscript to anyone she knew to read, so she sent her baby off to a few contests to get some anonymous feedback instead. Little did she know how her life was about to change: a few months later, she had won all four of the Romance Writers of America chapter contests she’d entered, was a Golden Heart fina...more
