For a handbook, this little volume has a surprising amount of depth. The text references many of the key documents which formulate religious religious practices, the Book of the Dead (of course), but also the Book of Gates, along with the Book of Am Tuat. The Table of Contents is not simply a raw list, but includes a brief synopsis of what each chapter contains, for easy reference.

Another especially nice feature, is a that as you come across new information in each chapter, the author tells you
