having closely worked with the police, i believe that there is a need of such use, however, as a civil rights activist i find use of excessive force detesting, but then there is always a fine line between the two and at times it is really difficult to differentiate . . . i for one when standing in front of a gunman would hope that the gun is in the hands of a lawman, rather than a outlaw . . . .
