Buddy read with Jessica.

And so does my Pretty Little Liars marathon continue with the third installment in the series. I usually find it more than challenging to review series as there is not much to say after the few first books. Obviously, the story is always moving on, and some installments are stronger than the others.

With Perfect I do find myself in the stalemate. It definitely has the strongest quality when compared to Pretty Little Liars and Flawless, but at the same time, it is my leas
Spencer, Aria, Hanna, Emily and Alison were best friends. Alison was the queen bee, and she knew all of their dirty little secrets. But then one day Alison vanished.

Now, years later, they aren't friends anymore--indeed, they have nothing to do with each other. Until they start receiving text messages and notes from A. Who knows all of their secrets. Things only Alison knew.

Who is A? And what is A going to do with their secrets?

I devoured this in one morning. One MORNING, people.

A new chef is making its way to the top. Sara Shepard created a new suspenseful and thrilling recipe of four tablespoons of The Grudge, one tablespoon of The Clique and one pinch of The Gossip Girls brings us a novel Perfect; four rich and perfect girls faces reality. Ali just died and Ali’s murder is still out there wandering in Rosewood. Now A
How can a TV show be so much better than a book? I really didn't think it was possible, but the more I read these books, the more I'm proved wrong. This entire series just seems boring and juvenile (and that's coming from someone who reads A LOT of young adult books). While reading these books, I can't stop asking myself "Why would these people actually do everything Ali said, especially the people who weren't her friends?" WHY!? Bullying happens, but I've never seen an entire town be bullied by ...more

"Buckle up, girlies. Nothing is as it seems"

The saga of Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer continues. Aria's family is in shambles, and her mother can't bear the sight of the daughter who withheld knowledge of her father cheating. Emily struggles with her sexuality and trying to get her parents to accept her. Hanna is falling out with her BFF, Mona. And Spencer perhaps has taken one too many things from Melissa.

These books have been marvelous fun to read. They are wildly entertaining, interesting,
Hold on to your hats people! Things are getting serious. Like with the previous books in the series, PERFECT picks up the story right where FLAWLESS left off. If you have been disappointed by a book series in the past that dwindled in excitement, be assured that the PRETTY LITTLE LIARS series isn't going to let you down.

The story continues to follow Hanna, Spencer, Aria, and Emily as they attempt to find out who keeps sending them threatening messages and exposing their deepest, darkest secrets

PERFECT starts out with a flashback to a time when Ali was still alive and part of the group. Ali receives a phone call but doesn't share with Spencer, Hanna, Aria, or Emily. But that's kind of how it's always been. Ali was always the leader. Playing the girls off each other and keeping secrets on each of them.

Now, Ali is supposedly dead and the girls have all gone their own way.

Spencer has been nominated for the Golden Orchid. It's only the most prestigi
Perfect by Sara Shepard was awesome. Just when I thought her Pretty Little Liars series couldn't get any better, she proved me wrong. It was definitely the best book in the series so far. It had all the intruige, romance, secrets (yes, lots of secrets) that readers have come to expect. There was much more suspense this time though, more character development, and one amazing shocker of an ending.

Perfect picks up a month after Flawless left off. Our four favorite little liars are living peaceful
I'm not even sure how to rate books by Sara Shepard anymore. This book has a lot of problems. It took ages for the plot to really begin. A lot of the book felt like filler. We see the same scene retold at least half a dozen times, and new information is not always revealed. Often, I start to wonder why the girls aren't acting a little more paranoid. The are not actively trying to figure out who A is, and they continually give A new blackmail material. A big portion of the plot deals with repress ...more

When I picked up this book at my library, I expected it to be about these stuck-up girls, kinda like Gossip Girl and the A-List or whatever. Then I started reading it and I read it within an hour, it was that good. It's set up so well and you'll never be able to even GUESS what's going to happen next. It's not predictable, which is one thing I really like about it. It's weird that someone is stalking them. I've read all four and I myself have had my suspicions on who A could be, but I always end ...more

So, I don't even know which book this is, number-wise. I think I accidentally read the last two (that I could stand to read) in the wrong order, but regardless, I'm sick of them! Who is A? Like seriously? I thought it was Mona. Then it's someone new or something? Who killed Ali? Was it Melissa's boyfriend? Ian or whatever? I think it's very annoying how there are, like 7 or 8(?) books in this series. How can you stretch this out that far? Honestly, the whole 7-8 book series could have been conce ...more

This book is amazing! The first time i saw the book, i got amazed! I knew the book was going to be awesome! The book, was talking about 'Alison' the main character who is dead, and is sending texts messages to her friend! Some texts were about the secrets they told her and some were BLACK MAILS! for example: If you don't do this to, so and so, I'll tell the secret you told me! It was just like my personal life with friend, but we don't black mail! The book was really emotional, and i enjoyed it ...more
Another indulgent little morsel devoured by yours truly. I love these books. If all the literary world is a smorgasbord, the Pretty Little Liars series is truly the chocolate sundae. I shouldn't spend my time gorging myself on them, but they're just THAT good.

I think that what I enjoy MOST, if I had to pinpoint one thing, is the fact that it's a series that centers pretty much equally on four girls. That way, when one inevitably makes me roll my eyes at something they do, there's someone else t

Perfect (Pretty Little Liars, #3) by Sara Shepard

Perfect the 3rd book from the Pretty Little Liars series. The mystery continues and more evidence and secrets start to get out.

Aria is trying to hide her father's affair from her dear mother Ella. Also she is dealing with her love story with Ezra Fitz.
Hanna is getting over her bulimia and her fall from popularity.
Emily is going out with Maya but secretly.
Spencer remembers having a big fight with Ali the night of her disappearance , and she pushed Ali so she thinks she is responsible fo
In the book "Perfect", the third book in the Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard, there isn't really a main character; there are four girls that each play an important part in the book. They reminded me of the characters from the Clique. In both books each girl has a different personality; one is smart, one is popular, one is sporty, and one is shy. The four girls in the book "perfect" are all trying to solve a murder mystery while the girls in the book "The Clique" all are dramatic and ...more

Who killed Alison? Who is A? And who will get what’s coming to them next?

I have to say that I love this series, and I loved this instalment too!

The storyline seems quite complex in these books, and I think a lot of what happens will have more meaning the further you get into the series. I loved the notes from A, and I loved the suspense in this one. Every book leaves you with more questions, and more clues as to who A is, and they really are quite addictive. T

“She knew too much. -A”

The people who watch the tv show will understand what I'm going to say...
Basically, when I finished the first book and then the second one I said that the story was really similar but there were some few differences, not big, just small differences with the characters, some details in the story... normal things that normally
This book is what I would call a mixture between a suspenseful thriller and a trashy piece of chic lit. Though this probably sounds like a weird combination, its really captivating, and I have enjoyed reading this series so far. I don't really recommend reading this book to read before bed if you get very easily scared like me, had some weird moments before I fell asleep thinking that the mysterious A was going to jump through my window. Very compelling and mysterious, the cliffhanger at the end ...more

I am finished with this book, and i am very happy since i feel as though as this is a very interesting and age appropriate book. The book is better to read if you have read the previous ones, since this book goes in order, and it is easier to understand the characters from the previous books and event the tv show.

The plot is that 5 girls are living in a town called Rosewood, and they are being stalked by a person by the name of 'A', they believe that the stalker is their friend who was murdered
I decided to read this book because it is part of the Pretty Little Liars book series which I am currently reading. The series is about four girls Aria Montgomery, Emily Fields, Hanna Marin and Spencer Hastings whose friend Alison DiLaurentis goes missing and is found dead. Then they start to receive mysterious texts from someone who calls themselves A and they threaten to reveal secrets about the girls that only Alison knew. They then try to figure out who is sending the messages and begin to w ...more
Honestly... this was another one of those books where I had a hard time getting started on it, because they're so bloody dramatic! If my teenager days had been THIS insane, I don't know how I would have survived it, to be honest... This is the third book in the Pretty Little Liars series, and still, the four girls are haunted by their past. Someone, named A, has been threatening to expose all of their secrets, leaving them anonymous notes to manipulate them into doing his/her bidding. All the wh ...more

I started on this series when I came across quite a number of fair reviews on it.

The novels revolve around the lives of 4 girls of Rosewood Day School -- Spencer, Hanna, Aria, and Emily. They were almost nonentities in their school till Alison chose them to be a part of her posse. Together they became the most enviable group and suddenly the girls found themselves to be the center of attraction at Rosewood. Then, Allison went missing and the girls fell apart even though they were bound by a few

A great series with some suspense but with a YA twist. To review this series, I am going to group the books in sets of 3. As I think, that reviewing each book may be a little excessive.

Reading a series basically in a row - I have a fear that there will be reptition in the story as the author tries to remind the reader what happened in previous books. My thoughts in regards to this series, yes there is repeating of facts in each book, but not to an extreme. As I read them one after another, I was

You can't truly know Emily, Spencer, Aria and Hannah until you have read this series. A is a mystery that no one can figure out, and you stay up late worrying over. It's definitely worth the YA lovers time.

A lot of us began reading Pretty Little Liars when the ABC Family series was premiered. I was one of those people because at first the covers kind of turned me off. However, I am really glad I picked this series up.

It changes perspectives each chapter between the four m
Note: If you watch Pretty Little Liars, the television series on ABC Family, I should say that I have only watched about 2/3 of the first season and that based upon what I have seen, the series diverges from the books. So I have no idea if I will be spoiling the TV show with my review. Fair warning!

Do you know what I love? When an author is unafraid to make the worst possible thing happen to her characters and send them into full-crisis mode. That is exactly what Sara Shepard has done in Perfect
