This book is fantastic, i have not read something as good for quite some time. I had bought it in 2003 from Dubai airport, and it was lying on my shelf since then, when i added it to goodreads, there was no ratings of it , and just last month, after i started reading it , one reader added a 4 stars rating. i wonder why it didnt get the publicity it deserves. perhaps at the time of publication in 2003, cross cultural books like this one, were not as common as they are now.

A brilliant and clever book. It tells a love story of two middle-easterners based upon two different art disciplines. Anyone who has a love of art should read it. My only disappointment lies in the poor proofreading; it contains many typographic errors.
