This collection of biographies surrounds a theme of young people making a difference in their communities in recent history. The biographies are organized into four sections: Taking a Stand, Reaching Out to Others, Healing the Earth, and Creating a Safer Future. There is also a second part of the book, “A Handbook for Young Activists’ that provides helpful information for young people to change the world like the biography subjects did earlier in the text.

I thought this book was good. It had a a series of Biographies that were sometimes sad but filled with details. It was an inspirational book and I would recommend it to people that want to make a difference. I would read the sequel if there was one!
Jessie
This is an updated version of his other book. He has a few people in history and then it's all about people in our century who made a difference. Very inspiring.
