I have really enjoyed this series. This is the second book in the Rachel Myers series. I am familiar with the setting even though Ms. Jackson slightly changes the names of the towns. I like the way the author tells a story. Each book flows into the next one- so be sure to read them in order. In this book, Rachel's lifelong friend Isaac has her investigate the death of his friend. Another good story, but actually very short. More like a novelette. I am finding some disappointment in several Kindle books I have bought. Some of them do not seem to be develop a story the way a conventional book does.
