This non-fiction book has a pretty good collection of sports-related stories--some that inspire, make you think, and unfortunately yes, some that make you want to rush through to get to the next one.
We can only know so much about the sports world, and it's nice to have something like this that goes outside of the "ESPN SportsCenter" realm and allows you to explore other sports besides the mainstream ones.

BASW is one of my favorite series. I absolutely abhor sports media and jock talk but this is really none of that. Alot of interesting stories, inspirational, bizarre. The editors really broadly define "sports." Always a can't miss read.

a bit of a mixed bag...one article from Eric Neel called "The Saturday Game" stood out to me. It was phenomenal.
