I read this since I have hypoglycemia and I wanted to learn more about the difference between high, medium, and low glycemic foods so that I can cook meals that will be better for me (and the whole family). I found it very interesting. We enjoyed several of the recipes and have made some changes to our meals/snacks. It's a book for anyone who wants to eat healthy and better control their blood sugar.
