Lumumba Shakur
This book is a testament to the exacting nature of the author's scholarship. It draws from a wide-array of sources along the classical paradigm and makes a definitive statement regarding the issue it seeks to resolve. It was written at a time when the qibla issue was becoming a divisive point of contention amongst communities and even household and though that spirit has died out, the book remains as a standard of contemporary scholarship.
