Ok...ménage books are not my usual reading, but a friend recommended this erotic romance and I am SO GLAD she did. It was well worth the leap of faith. Wow.

In my opinion, most erotic romance has steamy sex scenes at the cost of a well developed plot and characters- but not this book. Yes it moves quickly, the whole book takes place over one week, but it doesn't feel rushed, or missing anything. There are elements of suspense , since the a boston mob is after them, that keep the story moving, and...more

This erotic triad is good, but not as hot or as engaging as Destiny Calls. I think the timeline for developing this relationship was the problem for me here. One week seems too short a time for a serious relationship like this one to really take root... and to be about more than just sexual pleasure. The two books -- Destiny Calls and With Grace -- are linked though... the mafia plot makes sense if both books are read, and Patrick and Brandon make an appearance here. There's a lot of internal di...more

My Review:
I read this book a couple of weeks ago. In fact, I read it immediately after Destiny Calls because I loved that book so much. This one is actually the book BEFORE Destiny Calls although they actually are following the same timeline, which is kind of interesting. If you plan to read them both, I do recommend that you read them in order, although it is definitely not necessary to read both of them to be able to enjoy either book. T...more

I'm gonna start this review with a little background story...bear with me! Once upon a time, a new girl joined my critique group, The Quirky Ladies. My first impression of Sam...she had a big laugh, a big personality, she told rip-roaring funny stories, and she cussed a lot. (Which was a plus for me because I cuss like a sailor). I wondered what kind of stories she would write. I was somewhat sheltered. In spite of the fact that half of my group writes erotica, I never heard of triads, butt plug...more

One of my Favorite books. Reviewed on the Blog Book Review

Can we say raunchy??

Sometimes when author's write a really good erotic story they simply focus on the sex (which isn't a bad idea), but if we wanted straight porn we would watch porn. I like character development, plausible plots (sometimes) and great witty conversations, and this book has it in spades.

The love story that is present between Grace and Phillip is scorching hot, yet missing that special something because they are both hidi...more

Grace has a boyfriend, Philip. Her boss, Mark, is also her best friend. A mobster loses his computer stick at Mark's restaurant and returns at night to find it. In the process Grace, Philip, and Mark are under surveillence by the mobster to find the stick. To protect each other they move in together and Philip has to make some heavy decisions. A good book. Well done. I liked the suspense in the story as they try to figure out who wants to harm them.

I give this book a solid 3.5 stars. While I enjoyed With Grace, I didn't find it quite as compelling (both plot and characters) as Destiny Calls (which I read first). One thing I think Samantha Wayland does exceptionally well is characterisation and I enjoyed the emotional connections between these characters as well as the hot sex. Wayland is definitely an author I want to read more from.

I found this book heartwarming and sometimes heart-wrenching story. Well-written in all aspects and yes, hot and steamy. You will enjoy it.

Samantha Wayland’s dream is to be a full time writer. Her reality (for now) is a full time job that involves a lot of deadlines, paperwork and computer geeks with questionable social skills. Fortunately for her, she loves geeks and hard work. She began writing her first romantic suspense when she was in college and years later was still working away on her second book when she joined a local chapt...more
