This book provides a good way to introduce paintings to children as well as projects based off the artworks. My biggest criticism is that some of the projects seem rather loosely tied to the original work of art. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, perhaps some of the artworks are less approachable for children than others. Nonetheless, interesting.

Every bit as excellent as Art in Action 1. Projects are intended to be for older students thank in book 1, but thankfully, more challenging projects don't mean that they require much more prep time. I can't wait to use this in class!
