These books all seem to end rather abruptly & not always with resolution.

Overall a cute book for upper elementary. Schoolers. There are lots of great play on words that kids can appreciate. The plot is simple, that Bernie wants to win the great invention contest so he can have a week at the rich kids prep school, and the grand prize of cash. He and his dorm mates at the rotten school are funny characters. This is a fun book, but there is little character development and a simple plot so this would be a good read to help develop fluency and speed. 2-5th grade.

I liked this book because the book was very funny.I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes funny rotten school books. I like the part when Corky Pigge puts an explosive blue croquet ball in front of Bernie and he hits it and it blows up his clothes, except for his underwear.
