Despite being chock full of photographs with basically no text, this book is much more than a pretty coffee-table book. Richard Powers organizes the photographs in an effort to carefully take the reader through the various aspects of modern home. First, he shows exterior photographs of the homes in their various landscapes thus presenting a wide range of house types as well as landscape options.
