It's nothing personal...
Blond, beautiful bounty hunter Vega Brookes is on the hunt for her latest skip trace. Her prey, ex-special forces officer Grayson Walker, is ruthless, a killer. She shouldn't feel attracted to him. Even so, the closer she gets to finding Grayson, the louder her instincts shout that things are not what they seem.

It's only murder...

What a great book! I truly enjoyed reading this story, it had everything a girl who dreams to be a bad ass would want, lol. I love reading books where the female of the story is not a weakling that she can actually take care of herself and kick some major ass doing!!

Vega was no ordinary girl, she was the top bounty hunter and she worked under her Uncle. In the book Vega is given a task to bring in the handsome and the amazingly hot Grayson Walker! Grayson is accused of murdering his best friend...more

Vega is a bounty hunter, working for her uncle's bail bondsman company. She's known as a woman who always gets her man, and she takes her job VERY seriously. Her younger sister, Fiona, is itching to get into the family business, and Vega is trying to discourage her in order to keep her safe. She's got a "friend with benefits" in her life - Butch, a fellow bounty hunter. Butch is uncomplicated, and Vega feels content with this level of relationship.

Vega is assigned the job of capturing Grayson Wa...more

I presume you know what the book is about. I'm letting you know what I liked or disliked about it.

Oh, wow! The characters in this book were very easy to enjoy. Vega is a fantastic protagonist as is Gray. Fiona is, well... her character was held back, not fully developed, and that's okay -- the way she was written showed a lot of potential for development of her own story. She makes me smile.

Okay - back to Vega and Gray and Ms. McFalls... Ms. McFalls, the authaire of this fine story, I have a fee...more

From the cover: Blond, beautiful bounty hunter Vega Brookes is on the hunt for her latest skip trace. Her prey, ex-special forces officer Grayson Walker, is ruthless, a killer. This is a book that is perfect for Summer reading. It has a quick pace, characters with depth, suspense mixed with a bit of sexual frustration. It has some predictable twists and turns, but still was a very entertaining read. If it were a movie, I would wait to see it as a renter, but I would still want to see it!

The most enjoyable aspects of the book was the sexual frustration of the two main characters. When the release happens for them, it happens for the reader as well. That is how well the...more

Vega always gets her man, woman, child, whoever she has been sent after. She takes are job as a bounty hunter very seriously and she is one of the best in spite of being a former beauty queen. Her life is turned upside down when Grayson Walker's file hits her desk. Grayson has been on the lose for 6 months and Vega is determined to accomplish what her three predecessor could not - bringing him in after he skipped bail. Grayon however has no intention of being caught until he proves his innocence...more

I like reading about bounty hunters, my fav is J. Evanovich´s Stephanie Plum. So i really wanted to like this. Or at least, finish the book. This was a DNF. The heroine? Well, if Stephanie Plum had a love child with both Morelli and Ranger, you might come close. This heroine, the awesome Vega, is a highly skilled bounty hunter (She always take her catch) and has more action in the bedroom than a tom cat. *sigh* Ok, i can read some clichés but when she´s on a run and the hero shoots her, and her...more

I thought the whole concept of a bounty hunter for the main character was very exciting and I was disappointed by the lack of action.

However despite this I really enjoyed all the characters and how they developed over the course of the novel, I just didn't feel that the direction the novel took was the right one to follow.

I'm curious to read more by this author as mentioned above, the characters are very intriguing and I would love to see what the author will do with a different plot, or even co...more

I really wanted to like The Huntress but the further I got into it the more I started skimming. I did finish but it was a chore. I found the plot predictable and the action sequences more and more unbelievable. In thinking about it, I think the author simply tried to pack too many plot elements into one book. I am all for kick-ass heroines but Vega was just over the top. She seemed to be able to take out squadrons of armed men without breaking a sweat---with a healing gunshot wound no less! Just...more

Vega Brooks was employed at the Bail Enforcement Agency as a Bounty Hunter and worked very hard at the job she did well. Grayson Hunter, renown killer, was to be her next assignment. She had to succeed where many had failed, including her arrogant lover Butch Polsen. The suspense of finding the real culprit keeps you reading and thankfully the book is well-written with a descriptive style that flows easily. The characters are life-like and easy to visualize. It was an enjoyable read. Really...tr...more

Vega just picks them up and gives them to the law...

This is one of my favorite books! The suspense and the romance tie into each other so perfectly, not to mention a pretty great heroine that saves the day in so many different aspects. This is definitely recommended to anyone who likes supense and romance all rolled into one.
Monique Grasso
I really enjoyed this book. I would have liked it to be a bit longer and end slightly different but the book itself was a definite page turner. I would love to read more about her tough as nails bounty hunter - I hope she has a series in the making.
Kirsten Lenius
A very nice action romance with a strong heroine. Lots of mud and bugs and gang members along the road for bounty hunter Vega, as she chases ex-special forces officer Grayson who was accused of the murder of his friend and business partner.
Rebecca Hagan
I really enjoyed this book. I loved all of the action and adventure. This was a thrill to read all the way up to the last page. I recommend this to anyone who loves reading action books with a little bit of romance thrown in.

I like strong women. (even though I am not). It felt great to read a book with a woman with so much power and compassion. There is also this common twist of plot - the guilty not guilty being framed. Enjoy the book.

I liked this story but it should be listed in the fantasy genre. I just don't believe that the main character,Vega, could defeat heavily armed muscular men by herself. It was easy to read and kind of fun but I really wouldn't recommend it.
Leah
I really liked it, even with the typos. Some people go on about it being predictable, but honestly sometimes that's ok, at least for me. It wasn't that predictable.
Rebecca
Good characters - good storyline - good action. Overall, I enjoyed this book and will certainly look forward to reading more by this author and more in this series.

I liked the chemistry between Vega and Grayson and how their relationship developed but got a bit bored with some of the book
Stephanie Bolen
The characters are good, believable and interesting. The pacing was great, I would have loved it if the plot wasn't done to death.
Cesilia Buenrostro
It was a freebie on Kindle market, plus the summary described an ass-kicking female bounty hunter! Expecting to be spent into a world where female or male, its all about getting the job done with some cool moves. I found it very entertaining and kept me guesssing. Overall good read!
Michele
This is really fun read. Likeable characters, lots of action. I recommend this!
Jori
good read, paranormal romance. Not too serious, fluff-piece.
Julie
Intriguing story, full of twist and turns. Some romance and action.
