'Weird' is how I'd summarize this one. There was a lot of world building, some strange creatures and references to 'gods' who need to be pacified by certain rites and behaviors. All of this in a 'hidden valley' somewhere, but in a contemporary time setting.

I couldn't connect to the characters at all, and I missed any sort of meaningful interaction between them. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary and slightly whacky, this is a good story for you.
Ok short paranormal m/m romance about a town of misfits that isn't on the map and how two residents celebrate Midsummer.

Felicitas Ivey is the pen name of a very frazzled helpdesk drone at a Boston-area university. She's an eternal student even with a BA in anthropology and history, since free classes are part of the benefits. She's taken courses on gothic architecture, premodern Japanese literature, and witchcraft, just because they sounded like fun. She has traveled to Japan and Europe and hopes to return to both...more
