Lander is a writer who moves in to his grandma's house once she has been moved to a nursing home. He soon finds out that the house has a ghost named James.

I liked the premise of this book but somewhere along the way it got overly sappy. I mean I get it, love conquers all! Love will save the day! All you need is love! Blah. Blah. Blah. And really I like a good sap fest so if it got to me, it was a bit heavy handed. Also, you have to be willing to suspend all kinds of disbelief, more so than in yo

I really liked this story about Lander, a writer who house-sits for his great aunt, and James, the Victorian ghost who has lived there for over 150 years.

When their newly discovered friendship is threatened by a burglar, James comes to the rescue. I can't say anything more without giving away the twist that follows, so I won't. I loved this story from beginning to end. The characters are interesting, the writing is very good and the ending is wonderful. It moves 'at a leisurely pace' and I found

This book took an unexpected turn at the end, but I liked it. James was a sweet character, and I felt bad for the situation he was in. And what a perfect person for him to meet! His innocence I felt was very fitting considering the time period he was from. It would be fun to watch James discover more modern technology.

Good paranormal m/m romance about a writer who's staying in his aunt's old house after she had to move to a care facility. He discovers that the house has a ghost... a ghost he comes to care about deeply.

The start was interesting, but as soon as the plot developed my interest faded with it. It didn't speak to me at all, not the emotions and not the story.

Interesting plot, interesting characters, but the story quickly descended into silly sentimentalism.

ZAHRA OWENS is a multi-lingual globetrotter who loves big cities, but also has a weak spot for the wide-open spaces that are so rare where she lives.
She likes her men either tough on the outside but with a huge soft center, or strong, silent and damaged. She makes it her personal goal to find them their happy-ever-after, the road there often leading via hospital beds, villas with gorgeous vistas o
