Beggars May Sing entranced me. Gina and her brother are living with their stepmother and her brother, Mark, after the death of their father. And Gina hates it. She feels like she is living off of Mark’s generosity and longs for her brother and her to make their own way. Mark, the hero, is soft spoken yet powerful, and he falls head over heels for Gina.
