The second book in Sarah Silverwood’s brilliant series, ‘The Nowhere Chronicles’. ‘The Traitors Gate’ follows on perfectly from where ‘The Double Edged Sword’ left off. Set in two parallel worlds called ‘The Somewhere’ and ‘The Nowhere’ The Chronicles follow the secret-ridden life of Finemere Tingewick-Smith, his connections with the two worlds and their mysterious protectors.

The Traitor's Gate is the sequel to The Double-Edged Sword which I first reviewed here and the second book in the Nowhere Chronicles by Sarah Silverwood.

Finmere Tingewick Smith is caught up in the events of his world - the Somewhere - and a world beyond our own - the Nowhere. He, and his friends, must fight to stop both worlds sinking into chaos. Worlds are falling. Chaos is rising. People are being manipulated into position. It's time for Fin and his friends to face up to their destinies.

Picks up shortly after the end of the previous book, and promptly heads in unanticipated directions. Darker and more intense than the first volume (which was not exactly the Teddybear's Picnic), and expands on the consequences of decisions made in the past and present.
