The Traitor's Gate is the sequel to The Double-Edged Sword which I first reviewed here and the second book in the Nowhere Chronicles by Sarah Silverwood.

Finmere Tingewick Smith is caught up in the events of his world - the Somewhere - and a world beyond our own - the Nowhere. He, and his friends, must fight to stop both worlds sinking into chaos. Worlds are falling. Chaos is rising. People are being manipulated into position. It's time for Fin and his friends to face up to their destinies.

Ms Sarah Silverwood, I am stunned. You left readers on a cliffhanger ending, not just one cliffhanger but many (ie. Who is the traitor? Does Blake and Christopher somehow survive? Will Anais recover from her attack? Who will fall in love with who? etc...)

It starts of fairly slow, but in a matter of chapters, things start building up, building up and building up, to such a climax point that readers are left stranded, dying for what will happen in book three and how those climax/conflict points wi
