Another great Warrior's book. :-) I just love reading about the clan cats. I recommend these books to anyone who loves cats, animals or if you just like reading about adventure, these are the books for you. But make sure you start with this series or you will be out of order. :-)

Warriors rule!
This series is the Harry Potter of cat books. I started reading these almost as a joke, but soon I was completely invested in this world. These cats were brought to life with personalities more vibrant and complex than many human characters. These stories are full of danger, friendship, forbidden love, betrayal, and self-discovery and it is all surprisingly believable for talking cats. I had physical reactions - crying, laughing, tightening in my chest - to this series. I would highly recommend ...more

this book is about the old dark secrets in the 5 clans, Fireheart tries to get to the bottom of the mysterious deaths in the past, the truth he finds is unbelievable, and he finds other startling truths about the clans. He also find about traitorous plans in his own clan, he desperately tries to revile it to his clan, but his lack of authority brings him down, but time is running out. Every second the plan develops... there is also concealed love in the clans, but that comes to an end suddenly an ...more

At first this book repeated to much of what had happened in previous books and sometimes I found myself skipping some paragraphs here and there because I didn't need to re-read what I already knew. Granted this was probably put in for people who didn't start off at books #1...Still, through out the book there was constant reminders of certain events whenever Fireheart talked to "so and so" (not going to say who). Sure a few reminders as it could be flooding through is head but maybe word it a li ...more
I loved this book, I finished it in one day! It was amazing, and very exciting. In this book, Fireheart tries harder than ever to find out the truth about Redtail's death; and along the way, finds out that his best friend, Greystripe, is in love with Silverstream from RiverClan!
But being in love can be very dangerous for the Clan cats...
Even kits know that loving a cat from a different Clan is forrbidden. Most of the time, that love can cause big wars.
It almost does; becuase near the end of the

Rating reflects my daughter's love for the series. This book fits the mold, with enough genealogies, history, intrigue, and secrets (some sensible, others not) to rival some adult fantasies.

We did this book as a read-aloud, and I found the prose grating, repetitive, and difficult to get my mouth around. Inadvertent tongue-twisters, awkward constructions, that sort of thing.

Ableism Alert: The main character's apprentice was injured in a previous book, so she's disabled here (she limps). Every tim
This book had a twist that surely will leave the reader thinking about everything that may or may not happen!
I loved the drama and all the secrets involved.
The detail and description was amazing.

I liked this book. I think it sent out a really impotant lesson.

This book is about cats, loyalty, and betrayal.

Fireheart(main character)thinks that Tigerclaw(traitor) is going to betray the whole clan. And he was right. Since Tigerclaw is deputy nobody really believes Fireheart when he tells the clan, so it's kind of hard to convince anyone.

I think that happens so many times in the world that we live in today. People like cops, preachers, policemen, get away the worst crimes because they have th

My 10 year old daughter loves this series so far; so I've been reading them along with her. While I don't sense the magic inherent in series such as the Chronicles of Narnia or The Wind in the Door, there is a certain charm to these tribal felines. The use of so many names and characters (as well as the fact that their names change when they go from apprentice to warrior....) can be a bit irritating at times. And as an adult, I can see where the storylines are headed. There are very few surprise ...more

The third book in the amazing Warrior cat series, Forest of Secrets is an amazing edition to add to your shelf. Full of suspense, love, and crimes, the Warrior books are MAGNIFICENT. I havent read this book in a while, so my knowledge is a bit Rusty. #LOLWARRIORREFRENCE #RUSTYISFIREPAW #HASHTAGSGOLORE. Yah. Sorry. Just go read the book.
My issues with this book (and with the series, in general):

1. only the protagonist realises that the evil guy (cat, in this case) is evil, destructive, murderous. All other characters blindly trust the evil guy, and of course don't believe the protagonist.

2. the evil guy is (nearly) impossible to defeat (and even after he is killed, he returns from death to continue his battle).

3. infallible prophecies and omens unerringly predict future events (e.g. magpie omen = Bluestar will go demented); the

Forest Of Secrets by Erin Hunter is the 3rd book in the Warriors series. Firehearst's suspition of Tigerclaw grows. So does Bluestar's doubts of his stories. As well as his loyalty towards the Clan. What will happen to Tigerclaw? Will the Clan need a new deputy?

My connection to this book is with Fireheart. I hate when people don't believe things that you say from your heart and mean it all. Like when Fireheart tells Bluestar about Tigerclaw, she just shrugs it away. He is getting more and more u

Easily the best of the first three books in the Warriors series, Forest of Secrets weaves a near perfect blend of action and tension. While the first two books definitely nailed adventure surrounding Fireheart's induction into Thunderclan, this addition captured the relationships between the characters in a way the other books didn't. There was never a dull moment in this book and some of the mysteries which began in the first book were finally revealed. Each subplot, from the saga of Greystripe ...more

I was really conflicted about what to rate this book. On the one hand, I was riveted! As the title suggests, this book is just chock full of secrets! In some cases, enough hints were dropped so that the reader could feel self-congratulatory for figuring something out. But, there were also a couple of unexpected twists that did surprise me. Developments happened at a pretty good clip, and there was just the right amount of suspense between action-packed battles.

So even though I was thoroughly en
I really enjoyed the first 6 books in the warrior series. While the characters were not exceptionally deep they were still engaging and the main protagonist Fireheart is likable. The first 6 books also met my most important criteria for animal fiction: the animals have semi realistic behavior and instincts. I can enjoy a good redwall book with mice and squirrels parading around with swords fighting the evil stoats and weasels, but there is a certain subset of animal fiction that will always be m ...more
Yay for me, I actually did own this book, and the next! I had read the first two, then discovered these two hidden on the wrong shelf. Aswith the beginning of the series, I raced through this book, intent of following the action throughout. It is so easy to read something when you enjoy the subject material, and I do adore cats! This series is exactly the kind I like, animals being animals but with understandable human reactions and emotions.

I'm loving this series, more reviews to come!

I think this is my favorite warriors cat book. I have a very fond memory of staying up way past my bed time to finish it. :D its a shame though that fireheart took so long to figure everything out. Because I'm sure all the older readers solved the whole bluestar thing the moment that mystery started. But, I'll try to be patinent. It IS a kids book after all. Firestar is a good character though. A bit of a Mary sue type, but not so bad that it pisses me off. He reminds me s lot of Harry potter, b ...more
Oh. My. Gosh. Such an incredible reread, and currently my favourite of the Original Series, with Into the Wild close behind. Just everything about this book, especially the emotion, was great. Silverstream and Greystripe's kits, Bluestar admitting about her kits in the past and what she had to give up for herself, Tigerclaw and the rogue cats, Fireheart becoming deputy - such a superb reread that I thoroughly enjoyed. :)
This book was a pretty good book in the Warriors series. Forest of Secrets leaves you on a cliff hanger leaving you in a state of shock. I do believe this book had so many plotlines at some parts of the book, that it may leave a reader confused. I also believe that the plotline in this book was not so dissimilar from the previous books in the series. Forest Of Secrets is a likable book, but it is not one of those books that gives you the feeling that you can not put the book down because it capt ...more

I just finished reading warriors book #2 by Erin Hunter. I loved this book because it was full of great adventure and romance. In a way it's partly like Romeo and Juliet because there are four clans and two cats in different clans love each other but it's against the rules for two clans to talk except for when its a full moon
This a wonderful and very emotional book. Will definitely tug at your heart strings. I can't wait to read the next book.
A pretty good book, but I don't know what all the fuss is about. It's just another already been done before book. And the whole mystery thing it's been going on for waaaay to long, just solve it already! It's basically like a cat Soap opera;). Other than that it's a good book!

Sorprende, confunde, aclara y no genera soluciones convenientes.

Si has leído las entregas anteriores, DEBES leer “Fuego y hielo”. Y si apenas conoces el título “Warriors” o, en español
