This is book two in the Baci Sisters trilogy. I read book one first and then book three. There was just something about this book (reading the back cover) that didn't grab my interest initially. I knew I would read it sometime because I like Christie Ridgway books and I knew I'd have to complete the series but it took me a while to get around to it. Stevie Baci is the middle child, a tomboy and doesn't feel like she fits in with her sisters. She's a closet romantic and doesn't let people in beca...more
Well, this is my first book by this author. It was recommended by someone on goodreads and I thought I would give her a shot since I am kind of on a contemporary romance run right now. To put it simply, I liked it-but didn't love it. There were things I liked about it and things that bugged me a little as well.
First of all, let me say that the storyline is a little far-fetched considering it's the old prince falls for a commoner plot. The way she does it though makes the characters seem a litt...more

I was browsing through Goodreads one night when I saw that there is a lot of new romance books coming out in the next couple of months. While doing this, I stumbled upon the Three Kisses series by Christie Ridgway. Then He Kissed Me is the second book in the series. The summary sounded good, the reviews were positive and that compelled me to take a chance on the books. And boy, I was pleasantly surprised, and really happy that I did!

This is the second book in Ridgway's Three Kisses series, about the Baci sisters and their winery in Napa Valley. I enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to the rest of the series. Both Stevie and Jack were excellent characters. Ridgway really excels at writing deep, emotional romances that aren't bogged down or too heavy.

My thoughts:
I truly must read more contemporary romance, it is so refreshing, and real, and still fairytale love, awww.
This is the second book, but I jumped right in and missed nothing. In the last book the first Baci sister found true love, and in this one it is time for Stevie, the tomboy to find her love. She always played with boys, and she is not seen as the most feminine person around, she also hides her feeling. But I liked her, she was perfect as she was, and behind that mask she hid a l...more
Hmm.. Well, it did not live up to my expectations. I am little confused about the ratings.. It was OK in some part and I LIKED it in some part.. So I would give this book **1/2
As you all know this the story of middle Baci sister Stevie. Stevie had cut off from her sisters the most. I did not know what I was going find in this book. After reading this book, I guess I loved the previous book Crush on You more. Allie's story was much better than Stevie.

I love stories with Princes and Princesses. I always have and I don't know why.
Jack is royal prince visiting California. Stevie is the owner of Princess Limousine Service. They meet at a New Year's Eve party, where Stevie is there to pick up her ex, Emerson, and his new fiance, a royal princess, named Roxy.
I loved the characters. Stevie was a strong woman, who has adopted this strong tomboy persona. She's hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Jack is just like her. He's this infamous pla...more

3.5 stars. This is one of those books that you just wanna curl up with on a weekend and enjoy late into the night.
It's about Stevie Baci and Prince Jacque or Jack as he'd rather be called. I was definitely looking forward to reading this after 'Crush on you' which featured the youngest of the Three Baci sisters. See, Stevie is the middle child. The daughter who was always getting herself into messes. Literally. She was a tomboy in her youth and still is even as an adult. I liked that about her....more

I really liked stevie's character. She was strong willed and had a take-no-prisoners attitude. She was a tomboy but it turns out under all that...she was actually...a woman. Her male friends took it for granted that she would laugh at all the crude jokes, join in on poker night, and never actually act like a girl. All it took was her now ex dumping her and him then finding love with none other than her complete opposite...an real-life princess. Then to top it all off, the winery that has been in...more
I usually do not like the middle books of a series as much as the first and last book; however, I did like this one more than the first in this Three Kisses trilogy. I think it was the sarcasm in this one. The first book was a cute romance, and mushier (in a good way), this one was spunky, snarky, and just had more flare. I have a feeling the third in this series is going to have fireworks. There are snippets in this second book that show you preview to the third book.

Stephania, or Stevie, Baci is an independent woman and a bit of a tomboy. She owns and operates Napa Princess Limousines. While she and her sisters own Tanti Baci Winery she wants no part in running it. When her older sister Allie breaks her foot and has surgery Stevie finds herself assisting in the wedding planning for her former love, Emerson, and his royal fiance, Princess Roxanne of Ardenia. (Yes, this one of those only in a romance/book/movie moments).

I came to Christie Ridgway with one of her first books, Knitting a Wild Sexy Bikini. I really enjoyed the romance in the story. The promoted plot of saving the winery really wasn't a big part of the story. It was more about one of the Baci sisters and a handsome young prince transplanted in Napa Valley. Napa is one of my favorite places to visit so reading a story about the workings of this community was very fun. I enjoyed the play between the various characters, the search for a possible treas...more

Ridgway ventures back to the Tanti Baci winery too dive in to the love life of Miss Steve Baci. She has had very little to do with this winery because she perfers her own business, Napa Princess Limousine. A year ago she had a brutal breakup with Emerson. Now with her sister Allie laid up with a broken foot, it’s up to Steve to plan Emerson and Princess Roxanne’s wedding. To make matters worse Roxy’s Brother Jack is right in the middle of everything. Teasing and tormenting Steve as well as assur...more
I had so-so feelings about Crush on You (the first book in this series), so I put this one on the bottom of my current stack from the library. However, once I finally started it, I enjoyed it so much that reading it made me almost late for work. Twice.
This is the second book about the Tanti Baci sisters, and while Ridgway seems to be following the Nora Roberts Formula when it comes to stories about female trios (one girly, one tomboy, one take-charge), I really didn't care, because Stevie wasn'...more

Recommends it for:
If you like Malibu and Ewe, Ridgway series, Contemporary Romance
Teetering between a 4 and a 5 star rating for this book, so I will call it 4 1/2. I have read some real intense, emotional, thinkers lately so it hard to rate this book in comparison. If you are looking for a good, easy read, humorous story with great characters, strong sexual connections, with a few choke up moments, you've got it right here.

So i guess I liked it. but it's more like I wanted it done and over to finally read Jules/Liam story. and because' I am not a fan of the Prince(cess) and the pauper stories...
This book was nice but some of their griefs was a little over done. and the presence of his sister made me wonder a few times whom story it was.
Rox problem,Emerson indecision, Liam problem, Jules problem, Kohl entering the story...
also I am glad she asked a French fan to correct her. I hate it when the...more

I really enjoyed reading this book. The main character was completely relatable and you could lose yourself in the lust/passion of the whole thing. And find yourself laughing at her as well. The instant attraction between Stevie and Jack and their fighting against falling in love, is really well written. I like that Stevie tried to "have sex like a man" throughout the whole book, while not realizing that she was already so far in love with Jack. All in all, if you like romances, this is a good s...more
Loved this book! As always Christie Ridgway gives us the fiery Baci sisters and their barely surviving winery/wedding hot spot! We get the lively middle child Stevie whos is a tom boy through and through. Recently getting over a nasty breakup she gets thrown into heading the upcoming nuptials of her recent ex and his new princess bride! But with this princess bride comes a brooding French speaking brother whos hot on her heels. Jack needs to make sure Stevie doesnt sabotage his baby sisters wedd...more
Both heroes have strong similarities with the ones I read about in my last book :
- the heroine has always been a tomboy, has lots of male friends whom she spent time with and who often forget she is indeed a woman. She looks really tough on the outside, not to allow herself to care too much and get hurt again
- the hero had a traumatic event in his past and only goes through life since that.
However this book is the perfect example that it can work perfectly, that some seamingly cliches characte...more

I truly enjoyed and loved this book! The chemistry between Jack and Stevie was smokin' hot, and it was also nice to see Roxy and Emerson get their happy ending as well-- they're the couple that's getting married at Tanti Baci by the way! The funny thing is that these four are all related and connected to each other in every way. The heroine in this book, Stephania Banci used to date Emerson... but he broke up with her. Roxanne Parini happens to be our hero's younger sister and she's getting marr...more
I just loved this book! The characters were completely relatable and within the first few pages I was hooked. The story is part of a trilogy; however, I didn't read the first book. The writing was funny, tender and sexy. I was a little worried the end of the book would follow the cliches of other romance books I have read, and without giving that cliche away, I will just say I was pleasantly surprised that the author refused to give into the obvious path to getting the couple together at the end...more
Even after reading it, I'm not totally sure if I liked it or not. It was a fun, light, largely inoffensive book. The secondary characters were way more interesting than the primary characters, which is usually not a great sign. The ex-boyfriend of the lead is a weasel who sorta reforms, and his new bride has a lot of work to do, but she does seem to be trying her best, which makes her, again, way more interesting than the lead character who is sorta blah.
This is the second book in Ridgway's Three Kisses series, about the Baci sisters and their winery in Napa Valley. I enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to the rest of the series. I wasn't disappointed. Both Stevie and Jack were excellent characters. Ridgway really excels at writing deep, emotional romances. I only wish I didn't have to wait another 6 months for the 3rd book.
Even though I have sworn off reading stories set in small towns, I couldn't resist this one. It's set in Napa Valley with mentions of San Francisco. Plus, the story and characters (I especially loved Stevie but I'm partial to middle children) are good. Now, I just want to know where the treasure is (probably revealed in the next book).
I liked the story between Jack and Stevie, but I did not like the story between Emerson and Roxy. I found Emerson annoying and wish the author had developed the kidnapping story a little more. A solid book, but not one of my favorites.
And p.s., what does the title of the novel have to do with the story? I don't see the connection.

I really loved this! I think there was just something about both Stevie and Jack's vulnerability that really appealed to me. I thought their romance was just perfect. I also really liked Emerson and Roxie. I was somewhat disappointed in Crush on You, so I was thrilled that I liked this book so much!
