Ramsay always had a purpose in life and dedicated his life to protecting his prince.
The one thing he asked in return was protection for his young brother, when his brother was killed, he was disalussioned
And left for a foreign land.
He saves the kings son from abduction and meets an old lover who is now part of the kings harem.
I'm not sure how I feel about the harem, since I wasn't really shown much interaction between them all or how the relationship between them all works, especially in light

How could I resist a book that has six m’s in the description? Ramsay served as protector for the young prince in his kingdom for ten years, a job he trained for since childhood. However when those who swore to protect his own younger brother failed, he left his country, finding solace in living in the woods, only venturing into the city of the new country for supplies. However it seems his destiny is set in stone, since one day he rescues a yo

I love Megan Derr and while this was up to her usual standard I just never quite felt this one.

Maybe it was the Harem aspect, although there is no sex in this short story, the idea is not appealing to me.

I did enjoy Ramsay's story, as sad as it was, and Kajan was delightful. But I felt this was too lacking in details. Everything was explained but with no real depth.

Overall this one didn't quite capture me as her others have.

Halfway through this book, I was a little afraid to finish it. Mostly because I'm not very fond of harems. So, as I was reading, I started to get a little disappointed that it would end up that way and it did but thankfully, at least in my opinion, there isn't much detail about it except for Ramsay accepting the king's offer to join. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with harems, I just don't understand them and how everyone in it can be satisfied. *shrugs*

Anyway, the book is great. Rams

I loved this short story!! My only regret is that it ended. Would love to see more of these characters.

A lovely little short story showing that no matter how grim, when one door closes, another opens

Megan is a long time resident of m/m fiction, and keeps herself busy reading, writing, and publishing it. She is often accused of fluff and nonsense. When she's not involved in writing, she likes to cook, harass her cats, or watch movies (especially all things James Bond). She loves to hear from readers, and can be found all around the internet.
