This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Once again I had the pleasure of losing myself in Keta’s world with her guys, Rand and Frank and I wasn’t disappointed. The fourth in the Crossroads series starts off and ends with a bang.

At the start of this book Rand has graduated from school and if you remember from the last one in this series he was to do that if Frank were to consider taking Rand on as his partner and when Rand confronts him on it, Frank really has to say yes. And in that, their first case as a duo knocks at the door. Frank is asked to travel to New Orleans to investigate a case where two fourteen year old boys come up missing. The last place they’re seen is in a cemetery kicking gravestones.

As many of us know, New Orleans is haunted, and I’m pretty sure the whole city is, from individual homes to the cemetery’s. And because Frank has that sixth sense thing going on he is able to communicate with the “other side.” He has no choice but to take the case on if he wants to help the parents of the missing boys. After all, that’s his specialty and the word no isn’t in his vocabulary. After an amazing sex scene the men are next in N.O. and doing their detective work.

They meet up with an Ursuline nun who I must say I adored. She is more than helpful to the men and to the missing boys and she adds a bit of cute humor to the story, and sometimes when you’re dealing with Frank, you need that. He’s still intense; he’s very serious, and very, very protective of his boy. He’s every bit the Dom he was in the other three books, but this time we get to see him deal with jealousy and how he deals with it. HOT scene there, just sayin’. Rand is as adorable and feisty as ever and wants Frank to see him as a man and one who is capable of being his partner in more than one way.

Keta didn’t let me down. Three-d characters, amazing research on the Ghosts in New Orleans, the history of it, and the dialogue, all deserve applaud. She adds the tiny bit of the D/s action with the characters, not as intense as the first three, that may be my only frown here. However, we do have angst going on in this one and it’s pretty intense, but not so much so that it should turn you away from wanting to read this one. I sincerely hope Keta is busy at work with Frank and Rand again, on another fun adventure.(less)

Another great addition to the Crossroads series. Keta tends to dish it out on a platter, serving it up to give you just a taste with an unexpected twist and leaves you dangling with want for the main course and you haven't even hit on the dessert yet.

In this one Frank heads back to New Orleans with Rand to crack the case of two boys gone missing at a local cemetery, only to discover there's more to this that meets the naked eye. The whole ghost story is freakish, keeps you captivated with the a...more

I got this one as a freebie from Amazon and I wasn't aware it was part of a series. That said, I didn't have any problems following the story, nor did I feel like anything was missing. This was an interesting blend of m/m, paranormal and suspense, and one of the few freebies I have read lately that was worth reading - so it gets rounded up rather than down.

I don't know if this is the last in this series or not, but if it is, it's a good way to end the series. If not, I'm looking forward to more stories with Frank and Rand. Great little mysteries that grab your attention and hold it. Interesting characters and lots of steaming hot man love. :)
