Quite a good adaptation from the movie, but of course their were different details left out from the movie and the book. Enjoyable nonetheless! And especially since I love the movie I could hear those actors voices while reading the novel!

The art, omg the art! Seriously, they can't even keep Kirk's hair the right colour. Kirk does NOT have the black hair of Sulu, in any series or universe. And don't get me started on the horrors of the George or Pike art. Winona was the only saving grace.

A good movie novelization. There's only a little more background information than was given in the movie itself, but it's a pretty enjoyable read, easily on the level of most of the TOS novels.

This was a faithful and fun adaptation. There is a bit of content that was deleted from the movie, but not much. The art isn't as impressive as the other Star Trek comics I've read either, sadly.

Very faithful. Haven't noticed much added content.
Some was laid out too quickly and the movie fills in those gaps, while also the other way around for what happened before the car scene.
