Eyvonna Rains has written a lovely little book for children that will be requested at bedtime over and over by children from 4 – 8 years. Even children a little younger will like the lilt of the story as they go through each page. I wish I had young ‘grand’s to read it to at night. Recommends it for: children 3-8

Sleep My Child is a beautifully written and illustrated book and makes a wonderful bedtime story. I love the way Eyvonna Rains compares sleep to a quilt or blanket softly descending upon the child. The colors are bold, they rhymes perfectly metered, and the words encourage children to embrace sleep. I would definitely recommend this book for children three to eight.

Sleep, My Child is such a heart-warming, sweet and loving story that any mother can relate to. The illustrations were whimsical and the poetry magical. This book is absolutely perfect for any parent, parent-to-be, grandparent or even a nostalgic person (like me) with older children!
