I've been in a detective fiction mood and I found this collection on my shelf. I thought I'd read it but I hadn't. Anyway, I enjoyed most of the stories and while they all have a Jewish theme, I don't think you need to know anything about Judaism to read them. I especially liked a funny Purim story by Faye Kellerman. A few of these are duds but mostly this is a good mix of lighter and heavier mystery fare.

Recommends it for: short story fans
This had some good stories and some silly ones. Not as good as the Wandering Stars series, by a long shot.
