This book is not an easy read, at least not for someone like myself who has always been more of an arts and literature type. Science and math were never my strong points and I found myself struggling through much of this book..trying to piece together missing pieces and understand how peptides could relate to my son. Once I read on though things started to make sense and give me a place to start looking for answers. Definitely not the only book you need, but if you're looking for something other ...more

A fabulous ground breaking book on the medical aspect of Autism and PDD. I also recently heard him speak at a conference. He is very interesting to listen too. The book is quite scientific and can be difficult to read at times, however, the basics of what is going on in the body is the important part.

very informative for those looking to help autistic children in a natural way that does not involve prescription medications. also good at giving an overview of the biochemistry of the intestinal tract and digestion.
