I liked the Dumont Bride better, but this one was okay. It had too much descriptions of her healing and memory flashes for my taste, since amnesia is one of my least favorite plot devices. The second half was better than the first with more romance and plot development - the first half was really slow. Halfway through the book, he had only kissed her wrist, which goes to show how slow it was.

Without the second half, the rating would have been lower, but the HEA is sweet.

ok nothing brilliant

half of the book tells about how the heroine recovers from the beating.not enough romance for my liking.also, what happened to the person who beat her also not described.
