Doh, emak gw klo boong kagak segitunye amat dah ye..palingan juga:
1. Tu nasi klo lu kagak abisin, ntar pas tidur die berobah jadi gajah trus ngejar-ngejar lu..
2. Udeh, jangan nangis mulu..ntar aer mata lu abis..
3. Ayo makan..ntar klo kagak biar dipanggilin ondel-ondel ni biar dibawa ke rumahnye..

buku ini ringan banget tapi tetap bikin mikir. joke-jokenya cerdas. kebayang kalo joke ini dibaca bareng sama anak kecilnya, mereka pasti bingung dan mungkin brenti nanya karena mereka gak ngerti jawaban pertanyaan yang gak nyambung tapi bener juga. hahaha. ada beberapa yang paling lucu menurut saya seperti,

Some of these lies don't live up to the title. But some of them are downright hilarious. And the pictures vacillate between being adorable/weird and ugly/weird. I've really been wanting to use the word "vacillate" lately. Score.

or a dvd player that will play movies abt pig if u put ham on the player or abt cows if u put cheese instead and even window reflection on every balloon <ROFL>

Some of these -- many of these -- were wonderful, but just enough fall flat that it gets three stars, not four. I'm comparing it, of course, to the Bunny Suicides (which he wrote) where every page was laugh-out-loud funny, and this doesn't quite compare. Also, he has a slight obsession with ants (of which I am not a fan) and clowns (which doesn't bother me, but might bother others). So there's that. Certainly entertaining, though.

This is amazing! Hahaha... I tried a few of these on my 5-year-old brother and they're great. The great thing is that some of them are based on fact.
-For example, 1 in 10 fish are afraid of water.
-2 in 40,000 cars that leave the car factory are "Siamese cars"; if they share an axle, they can never be separated.
-If you try a vegetable, you might like it.
The art is hilarious, too.

Lies range from the absurd to the entirely believable. Totally reminds me of all the lies Dad told me when I was little like fries being made of caterpillar skins they sew together in the back of the restaurant. ("And if you don't do well in school, that'll be your job!") May have to try a few of these out of my friend's kids. (You've been warned!)

This book is fantastic. I'm fairly certain my sister told me some of these lies when I was a child. It brought back some fond memories.

Hella funny because it's Hella mean. You could also tell these same lies to a dumb-blonde and you'd get the same laughs.

Some jokes were hilarious, others were kind of meh. All in all, this was a quick, funny and twisted read.
