Joey (3) grabbed this at the library. I think he likes Lucy Cousins' bright art. Turns out the book was perfect for him with its peek-a-boo pages and the simple story of lemur Mama Jojo looking for Baby Jazzy. The library copy was extremely beat up, torn, and taped. Unlike my husband, who gets fantastic pop-up books for the boys, I am always reluctant to buy pop-up books or anything prone to damage.
Our girls love this story! We've read it several times and our girls always ask to read it again. Recommended for the preschool set, although I loved it, too! It has a fun narrative and wonderfully vibrant illustrations.
