The slightest tweak in history makes all the difference in its outcome ...

Tudor England. It is during the reign of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. As her time in power nears an end, Anne is greatly disheartened by the false accusations of adultery, high treason and incest she is arrested for, and the cold-heartedness of her father for his lack of defense in her honor.

Recommends it for: Those interested in vampires and Anne Boleyn.
King Henry VIII ordered that Anne Boleyn should be executed for adultery, witchcraft, incest, and all around treason. She was sentenced to be burned at the stake. But then her sentence was commuted to beheading. And then it was commuted to…hanging?

What happens when the unfairly accused and very well-known second wife and queen of Henry VIII loses her faith seconds before her death and becomes one of the undead? What fun and wicked things can she accomplish with this newfound power?

I liked the premise of this book and as a lifelong Anne Boleyn fan I thought it sounded interesting.

I enjoyed the storyline and thought the book was well written. However, the book didn;t quite hit the mark for me partly down the the characterisation - I don;t know if it was because I know so much about the people and the time involved that I wasn't quite able to separate those historical figures from the alternate reality ones found in this novel.

That said the book was enjoyable and I would rea

Anne Boleyn wakes up damp and cold. She quickly deduces that she is in her grave. To her ire she realizes that a shallow grave in the burial grounds of the Chapel of St. Peter ad Vincula, (a stone's throw from the Tower of London) is her final testing place. The Queen is angry. Not only had a last minute decision caused her to be hanged rather than beheaded, she was buried in an unmarked grave as if she was a common nobody! She, Anne Boleyn, who until yesterday, was Queen of England and the moth ...more

I enjoy a good Vampire story from time to time, I really like how dark and disturbing some parts of thisbook were, the revenge of Anne Boleyn kicks ass because if you do not know the true history behind the Tudor family you have got to read about it~!!. I also LOVE the Sexual areas in the book I love a good hot scene . I know this sounds funny but there was some twisted humor in there as well, and I LOVED every second of it. Personally I think Ms. Cinsearae S. did a kick ass job on writing this ...more

Anne Boleyn gets her revenge. Ahahahahaha!

I always thought AB was treated unfairly, and I hope she wreaks havoc on the Tudor court.

While I enjoyed the first offering of this author’s Abraxas series, I can’t help but have mixed feelings about Boleyn – Tudor Vampire. As always, Cinsearae’s writing flows and she’s good at telling a story but, unfortunately in this instance, that’s the rub: too much tell and not enough show. Set during the reign of Henry VIII, this tale could have been so much stronger had Cinsearae made the effort to breathe more life into the setting.

In a nutshell Henry has Anne offed so he can marry his next

This was a very historically inaccurate portrayal of the Tudor court during the time of Henry VIII. While I can accept a certain level of fantasy the author was trying to portray, simple facts were ignored that just annoyed me as a reader. I am a fan of this period and have read many novels set in this time, and this had to be one of the most far fetched in terms of the story. It's obvious that the writer has put some effort into the background and research into the time period and the brutality ...more

I wanted to love this book but somehow it fell flat for me. The premise held so much promise and Cinsearae is a great writer but (and perhaps the problem is I know far too much about that time period and the monarchy) I just couldn't see the people in the book acting the way she wrote them. Perhaps if they were completely fictional characters it would have been easier for me but since it was Anne Boleyn and others who actually existed and who had lives and personalities that were well documented ...more

Boleyn, Tudor Vampire is a bit of a romp. There’s a lot of tongue-in-cheek going on here, and I for one, relished the tromping ol’ Henry gets by his very-wronged queen. It’s about time someone gave the old boy what-for. Mark Smeaton’s comments are a delight and the reactions of the Court to the hauntings are both horrifying and hilarious. It’s a supernatural tweaking of Tudor history combined with graveyard humor. A story to sit back, read, and savor.

The idea that Anne could come back and exact some revenge was an interesting notion for me, though it didn't play out as well as I had hoped it would. I would suggest this to anyone who has wondered what it would be like for her to come back, but to not expect too much from it.

Cracked-out morbid fun, short and sassy, but in need of an editor. Will review more thoroughly in my LJ as I promised.
