I love the fact that this series of books is cliche and yet at the same time somewhat unique because they always seem to have this ability to keep you on complete and utter edge, making you want to read on and on and on till you just can not sleep because your that awake. the book is a book that never seems to stop moving, there always seems to be something or another there that has the adrenaline running and racing, and your eyes scanning the pages. of course I feel the characters are not as fu...more
Such a weak book. Much worse than the first two. Read's like a first draft, plot holes, grammar mistakes and under developed characters. I will not be reading another one of her books.

Recommends it for: anyone who likes a un-Twilight related supernatural story

But then teenagers start to disappear. The spread of the disease worsens and the town is placed under lockdown. A demon is among them. It could be anybody. And now there's nowhere to go...

This book gave me goosebumps, honest. Meredith really stepped up as a writer, and I felt like she needed some sort of world-wide recog...more

Great. Really good series.

When I first started this series, I hated it with a passion. Seeing as I got the second book for review, I was persuaded to give it a chance and I am bloody glad I did now. The second book was so much better than the first and now the third book was even better!

Eve and Jess have come a long way as characters. In the beginning, all I could see were shallow, spoiled, rich girls but not anymore. Yes, some of those aspects are still there but it is not nearly as in your face as it was in the first b...more

This is the third installment to the dark touch series. As the series progresses it gets better and better. It is about time Eve and Luke are getting some chemistry happening. There is a demon in town and where demons lay so do deaths... There is a fever, plague that is threatening the many lifes of citizens of Deepedene. Can Eve stop the spread before it is too late? Will she lose someone close to her in the process?

Okay i still am not a huge fan of the series, although it was a huge improveme...more

Wow, I have to thank Amy Meredith again for this great book, I loved it, and the 2 before this.

Brief description:
In this book, Eve, Jess and Luke or still in this book and let me say they are the demon hunter's still, a vicious tropical disease is being spread through Deepdene and they think its just a flu or something but they realise its a demon called Many faces/Amunnic when teenagers start to disappear.

Eve being the Deepdene witch when a demon turns up it is up to her to destroy...more

What a great and horrendous read! Filled to the brim with horrific events and mystery I did not put this book down! It was a light read but that did not affect how much I enjoyed it.

Expectantly, none of the three main characters disappointed me, but in this book unlike in the previous novels in the Dark Touch series I found Jess as one of my favourite characters. I am not sure why but I found her a brave, considerate character and she just shone through in this book. Oh and yes, Eve and Luke fi...more

Deepdene is once again under seige this time by an unknown plague. The town gets sealed off and people are missing. Eve, Luke and Jess are on the case and research shows that behind it all is a demon, who can take the form of anyone. But how can they tell who it is?

This is a strangely compelling series. The writing isn't bad and while the endings on each book have the drama of a Charmed episode, it keeps you reading until the end. Perfect for any teenager with a short attention span and who love...more
I felt this series is very lacking in depth. The entire time I've been reading, it's been shallow, predictable, unrealistic and just, uninteresting. I thought I must have accidentally borrowed a junior section book rather than a young adult. When I looked, nope, it was YA. Then i wondered if the library had categorized it incorrectly, turns out, no again. It's just a very undeveloped series, and I simply. don't. enjoy. it.

I actually finished this book in a matter of hours. I will admit that they were consecutive, but this book was glued to me eyes. The development of the storyline as well as the relationships between characters, paired with the supernatural themes make this book a must read for anyone who wants to enjoy a good book. I cannot stress how excited I was when reading this. I could not stop reading for one moment!!!!!!!!
I think that this book is the best so far, but next time when something happens (as we all know, something WILL happen) they'll know that its a demon!!!!!!!! If they don't use this reasoning I swear its time for a *facepalm* "as a wise man said if 1s is a cooncidence twice is a pattern 3 times! It's definitely time for a warrant" -Mr. Stalinsky but nevertheless the book was great!
I actually think that I sould give LESS stars but ''I didn't like it'' sentence is too strong.
It's just boring book, alike to others, more interesting ones.

I found this series so far to be nice and easy reading, this book, much like the first two started of slow but found it's feet not far in, and I liked the little revelation about Eve at the end too.
i always find the book in this series interesting but i do have to say the twist on the last page was a WT? for me....didnt see that one coming at all!

I Read This before I got Goodreads, So I don't have time to write a real review for this now. Check my Rating for an idea on how I found it.
I really enjoyed this one! The race against the plague kept the story running quickly. And FINALLY Luke and Eve got their acts together! :D
I read this book before I read hunt it was really cool how the demons drained the blood...but I wouldn't want that to happen to me.
I'm loving reading this series. Another amazing addition. Excited to read the next book, especially after the revelation of the last line.
Perfect .. but my gosh Luke and Eve are making me loose my patience. Can't wait for the next book called BETRAYAL !!!!! :)

Amy Meredith now lives in California, though she has lived and worked in New York and the Hamptons where our heroes, Eve, Luke and Jess, come from. She has always had a fascination with the supernatural and wishes she had a super power like Eve's - although in real life she says she would definitely prefer shopping to demon-fighting!

“Eve was happy for her bestie. She just wished she had a guy who would look at her the way Seth looked at her friend, eyes all starry.
No, that wasn't it. Or it wasn't completely it. Eve knew there were guys at school who liked her and would give her the Seth-look if she gave them the opportunity. But she didn't want the look from any of those guys. She wanted the look she could give the look back to. She wanted to find a guy she could all-out love who would all-out love her back.”
