My favorite type of mystery centers on unraveling the victim's past, piece by piece, until the motive and the killer ultimately emerge. This book is squarely in that tradition, and solving the puzzle involves a trip to Canada, where more victims, whose deaths had been classified as accidents, are uncovered. A great plot though the ending seems a bit implausible.
I didn't give this four stars because I find some of the dialog very antiquated and stiff. Having lived in Yorkshire for 3 years, I find More...

This is a good murder mystery series (the print is always weird by this publisher--kind of like desk top publishing rather than professionally type set, but the book is better than that). A bit convoluted in the plot, but good.
