Everyone knows roosters can be noisy so when Kip the rooster crows very loudly at various times throughout the day, Kip's neighbours are not too happy and his owner Mrs Bea sets out to find a solution to the problem of noisy Kip.

Suitable for ages 3 - 103 as the bold illustrations add a touch of hilarity that will appeal to the adult sense of humour. This book has been nominated for a 2010 Children's Book of the Year Award in the Early Childhood category.

Kip is a fluffy hatchling. Mrs Bea knows he's special.

With the turn of a page, Kip has grown up. And with a shake of his collar and a puff of his chest, he makes a noise to match: Cock-a-doodle-do.

Mr James lets Mrs Bea know that it's not acceptable so early in the morning.

So next day, Kip waits until it's morning tea and, with a shake of his collar and a puff of his chest, lets out an even bigger cock-a-dooooooooodle-do.

Little Lucy and her grandma tell Mrs Bea how the noise ruined their quiet
Louise (A Strong Belief in Wicker)
A bright and colourful book for the preschool set. Kip the neighbourhood rooster makes quite a racket every morning, upsetting all the neighbours. Lots of chance to have fun with cockadoodledooing with the youngsters.
