I learned so much about my food choices, this was easy, fast and effective. My favorite recipe is the cranberry bran muffins, I change it up each time and I never get bored of them. I also created my own oatmeal combo that I can't say enough about:

The beginning of this book is a condensed version of the first book. What makes this one so great is all of the delicious recipes. This book has gotten me to try things I never would have touched before, and most everything has turned out great.
Absolutely necessary reading for anyone/everyone who wants to eat healthy, feel good daily, curb sugar, white flour and convenience food cravings, and more. I love eating this way. It's NOT a diet. It's an eating plan for life. Thinking in terms of "Low GI" works for me. There are many, many "diets", "eating plans," etc. that have the very same ideas and foods.
