Recommends it for: Fans of the series or anyone who's looking for a hot SEALs story.
TOTAL hotness! I just gobbled this one up! It's only 60 pages or so, but somehow it felt longer (in a good way). I swear Elle Kennedy does better with these novellas (rather than a full length book)--she adds just enough backstory, plot, and character development to go with all the sizzling sex scenes, and things move fast, fast, fast! And OMG, her heroes are masters of the "dirty talk"--whew!

This one is #4 in her Out Of Uniform series, which features Navy SEALs based in San Diego. The plot of t
A great story of the Out of Uniform series.

Jane is the type of character I really appreciate. Smart, honest, open-minded, confident, and ultra-feminine. A true seductress.

Since when had this turned into more than just sex? It was Jane’s fault, for being so damn likable.

Thomas Becker is gorgeous (of course), tall and muscular (what else?), a silent-type hero with suppressed, all-consuming passion.

Jane felt her cheeks grow warm. What was Becker like? Intense, she wanted to say. She thought a

Lieutenant Thomas Becker, the new leader of legendary SEAL Team Fifteen. Is not a very social being…rather he keeps to himself…you know those loner and silent types!!! But wow…who would have guessed that under that hot, ripped sexy body ……..….ooh….an intense and passionate man!!! photo 36297826432862de9ef31f7ffde15deb_zps9f07f1fc.jpgane Harrison is a woman I totally identify with. She’s gorgeous….of course…sexy, smart, career-orientated and bold and totally up-front.
Absolute total opposites, right??? Would one ever think that these two would connect

I loved how this book starts out with the hero and heroine getting trapped in an elevator. Unfortunately for the heroine Jane, she is highly claustrophobic and has a major panic attack. What's a hero to do but have wild sex with her to distract her. LOL
The hero Becker has recently divorced and is very quiet and reserved (it's the quiet ones who are the wildest) and Jane is outspoken, can carry on a conversation with a rock and is drop dead gorgeous with a pair of breasts that would be at home at
Awilk -never sleeps-
Elle Kennedy has written another quick, short and hot little read. These stories are about a group of Navy seals and the women they fall in love with. The story lines are simple, but I find them enjoyable enough to fill in a couple of hours.
Good hot erotic novella. Kennedy does a good job with the short format, building up only as much story as there's room for and resolving it without it feeling hasty.

Holy hell, these just keep getting hotter!

Lt. Thomas Becker is the new leader of the SEAL team. Fresh off a divorce from his model wife, Alice, he's not looking for love or a relationship. A rescue mission to save an American photographer, Elizabeth Harrison, from a hostile environment leaves him with a bullet in his arm and some time off for physical therapy. When Elizabeth's sister, Jane, shows up one day requesting an interview, he turns her down. Not one to give up, Jane chases him down and
Very Hot, fast read. Becker the Navy SEAL, yeah he was easy to like, tall, dark and stoic. I can picture him now..... Anyway, when he meets Jane he is wary of her bombshell looks and initially dismisses her. But after they are trapped in an elevator he comforts her as she panics. She asked him to distract her and their close proximity and chemistry play havoc with their control. Next thing you know their putting on one hot show for the elevator repairman via hidden camera. Afterward she wants to ...more

I think I'd actually give this sucker 4.5 stars. I really enjoyed almost everything about it. For it being such a short piece, it didn't feel that way in regards to Becker and Jane's relationship. Even their first sexual encounter didn't seem off, like it does sometimes when characters just meet and hop into the sack. I felt their attraction, their sexual tension. Plus, I think it helped that they weren't all of the sudden OMG, SEW IN LURVE!!!! immediately. They were realistic in what they were ...more
I do like this series.

I didn't connect with Jane very much.. she was a bit... brash. Which is hilarious since I'm totally like that.

I liked Thomas aka Becker a lot. I totally understood his reasons for not wanting to get into a relationship, but I do think his 50's vision of a wife was a bit far fetched. Now having said that, I know a lot of women who would be happy with that, so it wasn't unobtainable.

I loved seeing the other boys. It would have been nice to see John and Shelby again, but I lik

I really really want to give this book more than 3 stars because Elle Kennedy's writing is simply divine. As always. But when the plot is already strong, the characters are not so much.

I'm so mad at Beck. I mean, seriously? He's a big, bad soldier yet he's afraid of taking chances. Sure he was scarred but I just dislike his cowardliness. And Jane's attitude is a wee bit confusing. She's the black sheep of the family, so is she.. Distant with her family? Or not? The lack of details made me not r

This one is scorching hot! Jane wants to interview Thomas Becker. He was the least of the SEAL team that rescued her sister. He however doesn't want to be interviewed. They get stuck in an elevator and Jane has a panic attack. One great way to distract her....yup, what else but elevator sex? They decide to have a fling for a week only can it just be a week or is there more to them than just explosive sex?

As with all my other Out of Uniform reviews, this story is no different. A great, hot, short and entertaining read but unlike the others this one also contains some very sweet 'aww' moments too. Highly recommend this series.

3.5 stars, rounded up. review to come.

Why I read them: After enjoying Getting Hotter, I was curious about how some of the other couples had gotten together and decided to finish reading the other books I'd picked up immediately after reading Feeling Hot. It didn't take long, the earlier books are short and it remained what I was in the mood to read - a sexy, fun contemporary where I didn't have to think too much with low angst levels.

I have put them in order here, but I read them out of order (

Fun with Dick errr Beck and Jane.

Take one Navy SEAL recovering from a gunshot wound sustained in the line of duty, mix in one reporter with the body of a playboy bunny who suffers from claustrophobia, strand them in an elevator and the result is a little “let’s get it on” in Heat it Up. If the problem with the elevator had been purely electrical - then the sparks flowing between Thomas “Beck” Becker and Jane Harrison could have powered up the thing itself.

This book reminded me a lot of another o
My review cross-posted from Joyfully Reviewed:

Reporter Jane Harrison is writing a piece on her sister’s rescue by a Navy SEAL team and she’s determined to talk to Thomas Becker, the man who was in charge of the rescue mission. Becker doesn’t want to be interviewed, but when he and Jane find themselves trapped in an elevator, Becker discovers that he does want the brazen beauty herself. Their erotic encounter leaves both Jane and Becker wanting more, but B

And then this one was better!

Following the rescue of her sister, Jane, a reporter, wants to write about the brave men that saved her sister. Thomas Becker is the badass leader of the group of navy seals that took care of her. She asks him for a pictu

“Fuck, that’s it, Jane, I feel that pussy throbbing, you’re close, aren’t you?”

Thomas Becker, hands down, the best dirty talker in this series which of sexy Navy Seals with raw, oozing masculinity!!

“Lie down, Jane. And spread your legs wide for me. I want to taste that sweet pussy of yours.”

Get my point?? ;-)

Another shorter one (only around 60 pages), but Elle Kennedy does extremely well in this length story. She builds up the story, and perfectly concludes it.

I love Jane. She's so utterly open and honest, not holding her thoughts in, she's more than a little direct, and absolutely charming with it. You can't help but like someone that tells it like it is and doesn't let anyone else hide behind half hidden thoughts and words.

After a sexual encounter to calm down Jane's panic attack while trapped in an elevator, Becker continues to refuse not only the interview but also continuing their ...more

After you read these books one after the other they all start to blend together and this is one of them so i appologise now for the short and sweet review.
It was a good book but nothing really distinguishing about it from the others. Becker and his team rescued a women and said womens sister - Jane is a journalist who went to interview Becker on his return. After Becker politely declined the invitation they shared an elevator ride back to ground level where it suddenly stopped and Jane who does

Jane and Becker. Hot hot hot! This was a sexy, satisfying read. Jane is the best heroine so far, a lot of sassy fun. Which clashes with stick in the mud Becker. His reluctance to get involved is justified - he's newly divorced and feeling once bitten twice shy. A sparky first encounter leads to some hot elevator sex (I may need to make a new bookshelf for elevator sex). Lots of good banter between these two, as well as with the entire Seal team. Becker reluctantly befriending Carson and Holly fo ...more

Becker was just plain hot; hands down. The elevator scene made me turn my air conditioner in the middle of October! Let me just say that a writer can never go wrong including a character that is a Navy SEAL and Kennedy did not disappointment me with Becker. He is not like the other SEALS characters (who are more playful) Becker is a serious character but falls just as hard as all the other guys have for that one woman.

This is one hot story. Becker and his men rescued a woman, Elizabeth, in South America. Some time later, her sister Jane tracks him down. She is writing a story about her sister's rescue. Jane wants to interview him but he says no. He is a stern broody man but HOT! They get stuck in an elevator and have sex to distract Jane's claustrophobia. They start an affair but Becker is getting over a divorce and does not see Jane as she truly is. Will he get is together and realize he wants Jane?

I really liked Jane in this one. I liked that she had no filter and was straight to the point. She was good for Thomas' abrupt "show no emotion" manner. I really like the back story and how they were connected. Kudos to the love in an elevator *rawr*. I know it's all plot development, but I wish Thomas would have focused on his growing attraction rather than finding reasons why they shouldn't have been and letting it go more naturally. The end is worth it though.
