An excellent book for understanding the Mass. Scott Hahn writes about the loftiest truths of the Faith in an understandable way.

He delves into the teachings of the early Fathers about the book of Revelation and what it means for liturgical worship. He clearly makes the reader appreciate the importance and holiness of the Mass even when the band is off and the homily is uninspiring. It is the eternal feast of the whole host of heaven.

Reading this book will definitely help you appreciate Mass mor

Receiving the study guide became a good reason to re-read The Lamb’s Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth. The book presents the Book of Revelation in it’s connection to the Mass in that the key to unlocking so many strange symbols is the liturgy. This is more than just of thesis of Dr. Scott Hahn. He discovered this independently only to find that it was a thread of teaching in the Church Fathers and some once again presented in the Second Vatican Council. Scott Hahn is adept at presenting deep ...more

Having just finished facilitating the St. Paul Center Bible Study, "The Bible and the Mass," which has "The Lamb's Supper" as its recommended text, I found this study guide a very valuable supplement to the book and the presentation materials. Each chapter corresponds to a chapter in the original book. All follow the same format. They begin with three bulleted "key points" followed by a 1-2 page summary. Several related scripture references provide solid foundation for the material. A "doctrine" ...more

Each section of the study guide corresponds to a reading in the book which should be read so that you’ll understand the study q

This was a short book, and I would hope in future editions of "The Lamb's Supper" it could just be added in the back of the book. However, it is a great resource for anyone studying "The Lamb's Supper" either individually or as a group.
