Recommends it for: Fans of hot contemporary romance between a brainiac and a sexy hero
This is really crazy. I was looking for a "smutty" book to read--one that wouldn't take too much concentration, so with a title like "Sex Drive" you'd think pretty smutty, right? But no, actually, this was a really good book--I was pleasantly surprised. It had a good story, wonderful characters, was hard to put down...and okay, it was pretty hot (not smutty)! And I actually learned some things too (about Australia, about famous authors and how they sell, write, and market their books, and a litt ...more
I really liked this book. It was one of those where the H&h meet and instantly connect. Despite how fast the relationship took off I felt that through the 3 day's these two where together that they really got to know each other well. Of course the love scenes where HOT and well done. The only thing I can complain about is I wish the book would have gone on for another 50 pages or so. This could have very easily have been a 5 star book for me.

Sex Drive is an amazingly sensual read and one sure to please fans who love a lot of spice in their contemporary romances! This book starts what appears to a new series involving sisters and the love they find in their travels.

The first installment features the eldest sister Theresa Fallon. Theresa is a genius. She values her control and acumen. She is comfortable with her intellectual side but not so much with the physical and

Her younger sister is getting married. Due to a recent

it's one wild ride, for both the characters and the reader. I like the way the Damien and Theresa gradually developed feelings for one another, fraught with all the highs and joys, doubts and uncertainties of a new romance. Like how Damien found himself floundering, wanting to say the right words at the right time, because it mattered now in the way it didn't before. I also like the way they helped each other to grow and expand beyond what they already are into better persons. Susan Lyons is an ...more

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book... the title and the cover photo (and even the categorization) sort of put me off. Was this another sleazy novel disguised as a romance? NO! In fact, it's quite the opposite.

Yes, there is some steam. Yes, the steam is hot! Yes, the characters are virtual strangers who meet first in a book store and then on a plane. And yet... there's something sweetly romantic and surprising and funny and realistic about Damien and Theresa and their whirlwind roma
This book is my first review for Night Owl Romance. I am a reviewer there now!!! I am so excited!! So, with that said, I did receive this book for free... for my honest opinion of the story. So, all thoughts and comments regarding this book are solely mine!

Now, on to the review....

Meet Theresa Fallon, one of four of the Fallon sisters. She is the oldest of them. With her IQ being around genius level, she is the organized, realistic, cynical, and a little dull. Her sisters would never think of he
2.5 it is entertaining and funny but that's not enough. yes, they were discussing serious stuff but still, the story was quite empty for me. not strong emotions. just pure lust and all that. also, the pace was too slow. almost half the page and they were still in the airplaine.
Despite the slightly cheesy cover, this was an excellent novel. I loved both the hero and heroine, loved the honesty of their interactions and the swiftness with which their misunderstanding was cleared up. I think it was very clever that Theresa really had nowhere to run once she decided that she was mad at Damien. I also loved the fact that that both characters seemed logical, willing to give the other the benefit of the doubt where hurt feelings were concerned.

This is my second SL novel and I
Sex Drive by Susan Lyons

Wild Ride to Love Series Book 1 follows the Fallon Sisters. Books 2-4 transition to Susan Fox as the author.

I loved this series and this story was my favorite. I enjoy stories about brainy women falling in love. They try to do it so intellectually by reasoning the encounter (relationship) should I or shouldn’t I… Inevitability the body and heart align and the ride is wild. The ‘mile high’ scene at the beginning of the book was so wicked/sexy/hot I re-read it several times
I judge this book by its title. I thought this book just about bang bang and bang, so-so erotica romance with absurd storyline and lot of sex scene. But hey, this book actually had decent story, even a good one. There was some racial issue which was great element to the story.
Theresa is an idiot with a stick up her ass ,she feels she's better than everybody else because she's a professor.
She also thinks that everyone wants to use her because her first husband stole her research ( or whatever) and passed it as his own .
This book was not what I expected. It was a good story with good character development. The way this ended she could easily write a second book about Damien and Theresa as there is definitely more to be told. This was an great read!
Well this had a warning on the back about all the sex in the book, yet I don't see why. Sure it had some sex in it but I didn't see why it had to have a warning. All in all it was a cute story and a fast read.

I enjoyed this book as much as the 3rd in this series. Can't wait to read the other two! Great character development and steamy romance too!
