Recommends it for: Criminal Justice and Business majors as well as Adults

Let me start by saying this is not a book I would normally read. I selected this book because of my desire to broaden my students horizons. I am glad that I chose this book. Feinman gives you a view into an industry that few truly know about. Nevertheless, at one time or another we will all find ourselves needing these services.

Let me say that I have never had a bad experience with the insurance industry but I have heard others speak of the challenges they've encountered. I learned a great deal

“Insurance is the great protector of the American middle class, but only when it works.” Jay Feinman’s premise is that the property and casualty insurance industry is a profit seeking one that makes the majority of its profits from investment income.
