Having survived a near-fatal car accident, lovely young Lexie Foster has decided to live it up. She drafts a list of exciting things to do and begins doing them. She changes jobs, enrolls in a gourmet cooking class, plans a trip to Spain, and begins looking for the first of six men she hopes to sleep with before her 30th birthday. Nick Delaney, Lexie's hunky new boss, seems a great place to start.

Delaney is lonely, a failed marriage driving him to pull his roots out of Houston and relocate them...more

This book was so slow I could only read a couple of chapters at a time. Nick was a great character, filled out and such a kind man. Lexie was not as interesting for me. Too focused on her lists to live in the moment. I didn't enjoy her. As for the story, it only became interesting in the last 2 chapters.

I found this book to be quite slow. I had to leave it to read something else and come back several times. I liked Nick, he was sweet and kind. Lexie was nice but so focused on her 'list' she nearly missed out on a good thing. After reading The Wedding Gamble I was expecting something a bit more fast paced than this was.
Found this book on my bookshelf and decided to give it a read. It's a quick one and a cute story, fairly predictable but nonetheless pretty good.
