Silver Days (Journey to America #2)
"Levitin does an outstanding job depicting life as it was for Jewish immigrants who came to the United States in the 1930s and 1940s. The book is written in an easy-to-read style which all types of readers can understand. This is one book that a reader will not be able to put down once it is begun".--Voice of Youth Advocates.

I bought this book at a public library book sale over the summer...I liked the book, and it did a good job describing how German Jews tried to survive in America during World War 2...I didn't know that this book was Book 2 of a series UNTIL I entered this book in Good Reads as one of the books that I read. Luckily I didn't have a hard time following the book or its' characters!
