Ugh. I was not a fan of this book. The typos were a big distraction and the first chapter was nigh unreadable, but after that it settled into a comfortable mediocrity that it never really aspired to leave. This had all the makings of a fun read, a sort of a detective/screwball comedy, for instance the myths so much of the plot is based on were obviously well researched, but the execution of the ideas in the book was generally lacking.
