I didn't really like this book. It was far to one sided against the Muslim Brotherhood. It did give a few interesting tidbits of information but mostly it just showed them as this scary shadow organization that lies to the West so that they can subvert "Western Civilization" whatever the hell that is. The most annoying part was their attacks on Tariq Ramadan, saying that he says good things to western audiences but another thing to Muslim audiences in Arabic but they failed to provide any exampl ...more

Barry Rubin is an American-born Israeli expert on terrorism and Middle Eastern affairs.

Barry Rubin is director of the Global Research in International Affairs (GLORIA) Center, editor of the Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA), and a professor at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel. He is also editor of the journal 'Turkish Studies'.
